Made with wild harvested red cedar sourced from the forests of Cortes Island, BC, this salve is naturally disinfecting, anti-fungal and soothing. Red cedar has been used for centuries by the Indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest for its powerful healing and protective properties — and it is one of the most abundant plants in this region, making this a deeply sustainable remedy rooted in the land it comes from.

Cold sores: This salve can be remarkably effective for cold sores — but timing is everything. It must be applied at the absolute first sign, before the sore fully emerges, and reapplied frequently.
